Judith Drury

Judith Drury

Judith Drury trained in painting at Wimbledon School of Art and the Royal College of Art.

She has shown works in numerous exhibitions including those at the Royal Academy, Hayward Gallery, Cork Street Fine Arts, the National Museum of Wales and Southampton University, where she was also the Fellow in Fine Art for two years.
Her works are in some public and many private collections.

About twenty five years ago she exhibited a few 'old master' miniatures at the London Doll's House Festival for the first time. These proved so successful, and showing them resulted in so many commissions that eventually went all over the world, that miniature painting became a full time job over the following years.

Several of Judith's miniatures may be seen in 'A World in Miniature Museum' including a 'Constable', a 'Vermeer', a 'Leonardo da Vinci' and several 'Rembrandts'.
'Rembrandts Night Watch' and 'Van Gogh's Irises' were selected whisl still in the sudio for a television programme on the London Doll's House Festival.
